Women Safe and Children

LA CAUSE

The violence against women and children is a global issue that necessitates collective action. It can take various forms, ranging from physical and sexual violence to economic and psychological abuse. Victims often find themselves in complex abusive relationships that affect their physical, psychological, and economic well-being. Despite the severity of the problem, victims often struggle to get the support they need due to social stigma, lack of resources, and fears of retaliation.

LE PROJET

The Women Safe and Children association was created in 2008 by Frédérique Martz and Dr. Pierre Foldes to provide support for women and children who are victims of all forms of violence. Based in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the association leverages a team of experts in psychotraumatology (nurses, doctors, psychologists) and victimology (lawyers, jurists) as well as specialized partners. The institute offers medical care, legal assistance, and psychological support to help victims recover and rebuild their lives.

LES BESOINS

Donations to the WSC association are used to fund the various services offered to victims, including medical, legal, and psychological support. They also help in setting up information and prevention workshops on violence and raising public awareness of this cause.
